More performers join Billboard Music Awards line-up

Another three performers have been announced to join the line-up for the upcoming Billboard Music Awards.

According to Billboard, three male solo artists, Sam Smith, Nick Jonas and Hozier will be sharing the stage for the prestigious music ceremony which will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas.

Other than that, they will also join the previously announced Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa.

Smith is currently the second most nominated artist, with a total of 13 nominations at this year's Billboard Music Awards after releasing his debut studio album, "In The Lonely Hour", while Taylor Swift takes the lead with 14 nominations.

As for Nick Jonas, the former Jonas Brothers member's new hit single, "Chains" peaked at No. 13 on the Hot 100. Unfortunately Jonas was not nominated in any categories for this year's Billboard Music Awards.

Meanwhile, Hozier, is up for five awards including the top new artist and rock song for "Take Me To Church". The song has also remained at the second spot for several weeks now on the Hot 100 chart.

Billboard Music Awards is produced by Dick Clark Productions and will take place this 17 May 2015. The event will be hosted by Ludacris and American model, Chrissy Teigen.
