Carrie Underwood welcomes baby boy, Isaiah
After months of being in the spotlight during the American Idol winner's pregnancy, Carrie Underwood has finally welcomed her first baby with her 34-year-old NHL pro husband last week.
The “Blown Away” singer posted a picture of the baby's tiny hand on her twitter yesterday, with a caption thanking God and revealing the baby's name.
"Tiny hands and tiny feet. God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born February 27," the new mother tweeted.

The baby boy's name is taken from a Hebrew name Yesha'yahu, meaning “the Lord is salvation". Middle name Michael is, of course, in reference to Mike Fisher’s own.
Underwood confessed that her husband, whom she met in 2008 and wedded on 10 July, 2010, was originally hoping for a baby girl.
"He would have been excited for a girl too obviously. We planned on having a girl," Underwood said to ET. But the couple definitely has no problem accepting a son instead as the singer added, “We're both really excited and just can't wait to meet him."
Underwood has also revealed a year ago to Daily Mirror about how much she wanted to start a family.
"I'd like a family," she said. "Not a big one, but not a small one either. I really want my 30s to be all about my family.”
The American Idol winner will be turning 32 next Tuesday.
