Power Rangers actor arrested for murdering roommate
“Power Rangers” actor Ricardo Medina Jr. was arrested on Saturday (31 January 2015) for allegedly stabbing his roommate to death with a samurai sword, TMZ reports.
According to the source, the 37-year-old had a dispute with his roommate, Joshua Sutter who forced his way into Medina’s room which prompted the actor to stab Sutter in the abdomen with his sword.
After his rash action, Medina immediately phoned 911 and was arrested by the police for murder. He is now detained in Palmdale police station and faces a USD 1 million bail.
Medina is best known for his role as Cole Evans, the Red Wild Force Ranger in 2002’s “Power Rangers Wild Force”.
His latest film involvement was in 2012 where he played villain Deker in “Power Rangers Samurai” and “Power Rangers Super Samurai”.
