Katy Perry’s Prismatic Asia Tour includes Singapore
Listen up Katy Cats! Pop star Katy Perry will be stopping by at Singapore this coming May for “The Prismatic World Tour” which is in support of her fourth studio album, “Prism”.
The 30-year-old singer who recently performed at the Super Bowl 2015 halftime show, will set foot at Singapore on 11 May 2015 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
"I’m thrilled to bring the Prismatic World Tour to some of my favourite places in Asia, as well as some sensational places I've never been to. I can't wait to take in the sights and culture, share my music and meet all of the new fans,” the singer said in a media release as quoted by Channel News Asia.
Before reaching Singapore, the singer will first perform at six other countries with Singapore being the second last stop in her Asia tour.
“The Prismatic World Tour” started on 7 May 2014 in Northern Ireland and has been going on until now. According to Yahoo Finance, the tour was a huge international success and it is Perry's most successful tour to date.
For her upcoming concert in Singapore, Perry will perform some of her famous Billboard chart topping and award-winning songs from her “Prism” album which includes, “Roar”, “Dark Horse” and “Unconditionally” as well as some songs from her other albums.
As for her earlier concert dates in other countries during her tour, Perry was accompanied by another artistes who performed the opening act. Some of them were; Icona Pop, Becky G, Charli XCX and Tove Lo.
The tickets for Katy Perry’s concert will go on sale on 10 February 2015 at sportshubtix.sg or at the Sports Hub Tix Box Office and Singapore Post outlets, but for Citi card holders, they can start to purchase the tickets on 6 February 2015 at 9am.
The tickets are priced at SGD328, SGD248, SGD228, SGD188 and SGD128.
