Selangor’s Raja Muda on the cover of Prestige Magazine
A luxury magazine that is known for introducing the country’s young breed of movers and shakers, has got His Royal Highness, Tengku Amir Shah, Selangor’s current Raja Muda (Crown Prince) on the cover of this month’s magazine.
Posted on Facebook by the Editor-in-Chief of Prestige Malaysia, Rubin Khoo, the 24-year-old Crown Prince was chosen to be on the cover of the prestigious Prestige magazine with the headline, “Leading by Example, HRH Tengku Amir Shah, Comes of Age”.

Every year, Prestige magazine will scout for 40 prominent people of the country and feature one of them on the magazine’s cover as a prime example for all the other aspiring leaders out there.
Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah who is the third child and the first son of the previous Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Idris Shah, was given the Raja Muda title back in 2012.
Born in the United States with a Malaysian father and an American mother, Tengku Amir is a patron of a several charitable organisations which include the Chesire Home and the Raja Muda of Selangor Foundation.
At the age of 14, he received the “Knight Grand Commander of the Order of the Crown of Selangor” honour from Selangor and at 19, he was honoured “Knight Grand Companion of the Order of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah”.
Last year, the magazine had power couple Modesto Marini and Elizabeth Hew with Dato’ Ruby Khong and Daniel Chiang gracing the cover.
