North Korea seeks volunteers for teaching English
We would never ever see North Korea listed as one of the top 10 vacation countries anywhere, but if you are one of those unique individuals who wish to visit the hermetic country, now is your chance – because North Korea is seeking volunteers to teach English and tourism management to young Koreans.
The programme which is a joint collaboration between the North Korean government and Juche Travel Services which is based outside of London in Britain, will have chosen volunteers act as instructors at Pyongyang Tourism College for a one-month period.
To be one of the selected candidates, you need to pay 1,000 Euros (RM4,004) which will cover for your three-star accommodation throughout the programme which would also include meals, return airfare from Beijing to Pyongyang, a North Korean visa, private transport with a driver, guides and weekend excursions around the country, as well as teaching materials and manuals, The Rakyat Post reports.
The intakes of the volunteered candidates will take place twice; in May and November this year.
