Cartoon Network Water Park to open in Thailand
A Cartoon Network water theme park called the Amazone Water Park is scheduled to open on 31 July in Bang Saray, Thailand.
As reported in The Malaysian Insider, the water park will be located on the east coast of Thailand in Bang Saray Bay, which is 20 minutes from Pattaya city and a two-hour drive from Bangkok.
It will feature 10 themed zones that include high-speed water roller-coasters, a beach-inspired wave pool, and a Cartoonival, which is billed as the world’s largest aqua playground with 150 water features.

According to Propertyshowrooms.com, when the project was announced in 2012, Sunny Saha, senior vice president and managing director of Turner Broadcasting System (Asia Pacific) announced: “We are very proud to have Thailand as the spectacular backdrop for the world’s first Cartoon Network-themed waterpark. Thailand’s reputation as the Land of Smiles and perfect weather will ensure a memorable visit for guests of all ages.”
Fans of Cartoon Network will be able to experience characters from cartoon series such as “Ben 10”, “Powerpuff Girls”, “Courage The Cowardly Dog, “Dexter’s Laboratory” and many more come to life in a water roller-coaster that takes the fans through circular slides, twists and turns before dropping them for a heart-racing finish.
